Liz River is a well known model from Ohio, who I first approached about working together almost ten years ago. We were scheduled to shoot way back in April of 2014, but unfortunately there was a scheduling problem on my end that prevented me from shooting that day, forcing me to cancel. Liz then fell off the radar for a long time and it looked like I would never have the chance to work with her. It was one of my greatest regrets in the almost twenty years that I have been a photographer.

But as luck would have it, Liz contacted me earlier this year to let me know that she was back, and planning to head East! A few months later we talked about EXXXOTICA 2023, and next thing I knew Liz was there!

I made sure to make the most of my second chance with Liz and scheduled two shoots in less than forty eight hours. The first was on November 4, 2023 in Edison, NJ with BPH Featured Model Eva Nova and her adorable friend Callie Cade (making her BPH debut!). Shoot #2 was November 6th in Woodbridge, NJ with BPH Hall of Famer Whitney Morgan and BPH Featured Model Heather Lynn. Needless to say both shoots were FAN-tastic!






Scene of the Crime 5.0



This is the fifth version of Bill's Playhouse. I started the original Bill's Playhouse in May 2005 as an internet group on MSN and Yahoo. By November 2007 I had enough material to start a dot com website (billsplayhouse.com). That version crashed sometime in 2009, forcing me to rebuild (Version 3). Seven years later-June 2016-my site crashed again, forcing me to build Version 4, which I thought was the best version to date. The good people who host this website-Yahoo Small Business-after March 31, 2021 are no longer using the Site Builder tool I have used since day one to update Bill's Playhouse (aka BPH Scene of the Crime), bringing us to this new improved version, BPH 5.0

The theme of this website is crime scene simulations, similar to what you may see on TV shows like CSI and Law and Order SVU, with an all female cast. My models and I also recreate scenes from well known horror movies, and shoot custom sets for fans of our work. The inspiration for all of this are photos I saw on detective magazine covers back in the early 1970's. If you are old enough to remember those magazines, or a fan of crime shows and horror movies, chances are you will like the material here. However if crime shows, horror movies, and detective mags are not your thing than this is not the place for you.

As the photographer and moderator of BPH Scene of the Crime, it is my intention to run a fun website for like minded people with similar interests. All of my models are over the age of eighteen, and none of them have ever been injured or put in harms way while working with me. The content posted here is PG material, meaning there is no nudity or sexual situations, with minimal violence and blood. The images on this website are consistent with what you would see on network television or a PG-13 rated film.
